Welcome from the Board of ICF Phoenix

The International Coach Federation (ICF) is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high ethical standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. Coaching is a distinct service and differs greatly from therapy, consulting, mentoring or training. ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

The International Coach Federation is the leading global organization for coaches, with more than 25,000 members and 12,000 credentialed coaches in more than 100 countries worldwide. In Arizona, we have more than 200 trained coaches.

ICF Phoenix Chapter serves our members by offering educational opportunities through professionally developed programs directly related to the ICF Core Competencies. We also foster our community of professional coaches through networking events, special programs, philanthropic projects, publication and marketing collaboratives and leadership opportunities.

The chapter also welcomes affiliates. While not full ICF members, these individuals interested in coaching as a profession are given some special benefits in the hope of attracting new talent to the profession. The goal of our mentoring and tutoring is to see our affiliates achieve full membership status.

On our website, you will learn about who we are, what we have to offer and what impact coaching can have on your life. We encourage you to explore the contents and return back often as it is updated regularly. You are also welcomed to attend any of our meetings or events for a closer look into coaching; either as a profession or as one looking to hire a coach. We’re a friendly group and any of us would be more than happy to chat with you!

Warmest regards,
ICF Phoenix Leadership Team
